A dazzling seaside town, Vieste is renowned for its whitewashed old quarter perched dramatically above the sea, the Punta San Francesco promontory, and the striking monolithic rock of Pizzomunno.

The Gargano coastline offers rugged cliffs, hidden bays, and unspoilt sandy stretches, many of which are accessible only by boat or short scenic hikes.

The “Path of Love” (95 km / approx. 1 hr 45 min)
A romantic coastal trail, ideal for a leisurely walk immersed in nature.

Architiello di San Felice (105 km / approx. 2 hrs)
One of the Gargano’s most photographed sights: a natural rock arch rising from turquoise waters, best admired from the nearby panoramic tower. Monte Sant’Angelo and the Foresta Umbra (75 km / approx. 1 hr 20 min)
A spiritual and natural highlight of the Gargano. Explore the medieval Sanctuary of Monte Sant’Angelo and wander the shaded trails of the Foresta Umbra, a lush forest at the heart of the national park.

Polignano a Mare (220 km / approx. 2 hrs 40 min)
Perched high above the Adriatic, Polignano a Mare enchants with its turquoise waters, dramatic cliff-top terraces, and lively summer atmosphere. It is also the birthplace of singer Domenico Modugno, immortalised for Volare.

Monopoli (215 km / approx. 2 hrs 35 min)
A charming fishing town with a picturesque harbour, authentic cuisine, and a slower pace of life. Less tourist-trodden than Polignano, it offers a more genuine and relaxed experience.

Alberobello & Ostuni (260–280 km / approx. 3–3.5 hrs)
Alberobello, with its UNESCO-listed Trulli houses, and Ostuni, the gleaming “White City,” are two of Puglia’s most iconic towns. Both are set within the rolling landscapes of the Itria Valley and make for a richly cultural day trip.

Gallipoli (400 km / approx. 4 hrs 45 min from Foggia)
A vibrant seaside town whose name means “Beautiful City,” Gallipoli lives up to its reputation with a charming old town set on an island connected by a 17th-century bridge. Expect sandy beaches, lively nightlife, and a blend of history and Mediterranean flair.

Santa Maria di Leuca (440 km / approx. 5 hrs from Foggia)
At the very tip of Italy’s heel, Santa Maria di Leuca is where the Adriatic meets the Ionian Sea. The town is known for its iconic lighthouse, whitewashed villas, and boat tours of the spectacular sea grottoes. Standing here feels like being at the “end of the land.”

Rock-Hewn Churches and Viewpoints
Highlights include Santa Maria di Idris, San Pietro Caveoso, and Santa Lucia alle Malve—each offering spectacular vistas across the Gravina gorge and the wild beauty of the Murgia plateau.

A City of History and Renewal
Matera embodies resilience and reinvention. From once-abandoned caves, it has transformed into a vibrant cultural destination, its streets serving as sets for films such as The Passion of the Christ and No Time to Die.
